Daniel J. Martinez is a Los Angeles based conceptual artist who uses photography, video, performance, sculpture and language to address issues of identity and representation. He will speak on his work and his new publication, The Fully Enlightened Earth Radiates Disaster Triumphant. A reception for the artist will be held at the MoCP immediately following the lecture. Sponsored by the Art and Design Department, Latino Student Cultural Affairs, and the MoCP of Columbia College Chicago.
