Reading and Discussion: Meena Alexander

Acclaimed poet, scholar, and writer Meena Alexander will read from and discuss her work. Alexander was raised in both India and Sudan. Themes of displacement, identity, and memory infuse her work as well as the two exhibitions that will be on view at the MoCP. Alexander is Distinguished Professor of English at Hunter College and the CUNY Graduate Center. Presented in conjunction with the Creative Writing Department of Columbia College Chicago.
