Museum Council

The Museum Council is comprised of young professionals committed to developing new sources of support and to increasing public awareness of the MoCP’s exhibits, research and conservation programs, outreach efforts and education with the City of Chicago’s public school system. The Council chooses annually which project to support from a variety of projects put forth by Museum leadership.

The Museum Council’s involvement in fundraising and driving awareness has an immediate and beneficial impact on the Museum, providing a gratifying experience for those actively involved. The primary project of the Council is to help plan the annual benefit. In addition the Council plans additional events that bring attention to the Museum’s exhibitions and programs.
