EXHIBITION SPONSORSHIP
Exhibition sponsors underwrite an entire spectrum of meaningful public activities and events. Sponsorship funds cover the essential components of bringing together each unique exhibition. Sponsors make possible the shipping, handling, and hanging of exceptional works of art, honorarium and transportation of artists from across the country and around the world, free lectures and tours hosted by the museum each day, and many additional special events designed to cultivate an ever-expanding community around the creation and exploration of contemporary photography. ANNUAL PROGRAMS
Annual program sponsors receive 12 months of visibility and appreciation by underwriting key components of our public mission. MoCP’s education programs in the public schools offer intensive photography training to hundreds of disenfranchised youth. Our lecture series puts the public in contact with both emerging and world famous artists often for the first time in Chicago. EVENT SPONSORSHIP
In March of 2005, MoCP held its first annual gala, an exclusive, intimate event celebrating the 25th anniversary of our collection and the founders of the Museum while relishing the rare company of world famous photographer Lee Friedlander. Three hundred people gathered to toast the Museum’s achievements and bid on some of the finest photography in the Midwest. Hosted by the Museum Council and sponsored by Christie’s, Gardner, Carton, & Douglas, Ungaretti & Harris, and the Hugh M.
