MoCP is committed to protecting your privacy when you visit our Web site, sign up for the E-Newsletter and announcements, purchase items from the MoCP online Shop, or use the Web site to purchase a MoCP membership or make a donation. MoCP does not collect personal information about individuals, such as names and mailing or e-mail addresses, unless the individual knowingly provides it. In choosing to provide this information, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of MoCP’s Privacy Policy. The MoCP Privacy Policy is outlined below.

MoCP Policy on Information Collection

Online Purchases

When you order a product from the MoCP Online Shop, we need to know your name, billing and shipping addresses, telephone number, e-mail address, and credit card information to process your order. Your credit card information will be used only as needed to process your transaction. So that we can track your order, we will retain your order information for our records.

Online Memberships

When you purchase a MoCP membership online, we will ask you to provide us with the information we need to process your membership and to acknowledge your contribution. This information includes your name, billing and shipping addresses, telephone number, e-mail address, and credit card information. Your credit card information will be used only as needed to process your transaction.

Online Donations

When you support MoCP by making a donation online, we will ask you to provide us with the information we need to process and acknowledge your contribution. This information includes your name, billing and mailing addresses, telephone number, e-mail address, and credit card information. Your credit card information will be used only as needed to process your transaction.

Children Twelve and Under

MoCP does not solicit personal information from children. Visitors twelve years of age and under should remember that they are required to obtain an adult’s permission before submitting any personal information to this or any other Web site.

MoCP E-Newsletter

As a service, MoCP offers visitors to its Web site the opportunity to subscribe to our online newsletter, a service hosted by Constant Contact, which has agreed to use the e-mail address you provide only to send E-Newsletter and monthly announcements to you. If you choose to subscribe, you will receive MoCP E-Newsletter every other month, in addition to various announcements about the Museum’s activities. You may subscribe or unsubscribe at any time by following the Constant Contact instructions.

MoCP’s Policy on Disclosure of Information

MoCP will not sell, trade, or rent the personal information you provide to us in purchasing a membership online, making an online donation, or signing up to receive E-Newsletters and announcements. We may compile and provide aggregate statistics about our visitors, customers, sales, traffic patterns, and related site information to third parties, but these statistics will not include any personally identifying information.

We may notify you by e-mail about events or activities at or related to MoCP that we believe may be of interest to you, or to alert you about sales or other promotional events at the MoCP Online Shop. If you do not want us to use your e-mail address to contact you for these purposes, you may send an e-mail message containing your name and postal address to mocp@colum.edu.
