Fashion, Film and Fame: Works from the MoCP Collection
This exhibition features works from the Museum of Contemporary Photography’s permanent collection that complement themes from artist Iké Udé’s work: the use of costume, props, pose and stylized camera techniques to communicate narratives about the film industry, celebrity and identity.
In the spirit of making more of the collection accessible to the public for study and celebration, these photographs are on view--online and in person on the top floor of the MoCP--to contextualize the larger field that surrounds Udé’s approach to photography, art and fashion.
