Arts in the Dark Digital Exhibition

As part of the city of Chicago’s annual Arts in the Dark parade, the Museum of Contemporary Photography at Columbia College Chicago, Filter Photo, and Latitude Chicago brought together the photography community in the parade’s first ever Photography Guild. Museum and organization artists, friends, patrons, and students transformed into a group of mobile paparazzi, decorated with lights, to create suites of photographs from inside the parade and along the route engaging with the many spectators watching the artists’ Halloween.

About Arts in the Dark

Arts in the Dark is more than just a parade, Arts in the Dark is a mission-driven and curated event that brings performance and creativity to the street. It draws together cultural organizations and artists from every Ward in Chicago to celebrate our values as artists and cultural organizations and provide a platform for Chicago’s creative youth to explore a path in the arts.
