British-born artist Johny Pitts is the author of Afropean: Travels in Black Europe (2019), for which he was awarded the Leipzig Book Prize for European Understanding and the inaugural Ampersand/Photoworks Fellowship (2021/2022).  Damon Locks is a Chicago-based visual artist, educator, and vocalist/musician. He creates imagery that blends the political, historical, daily life, and utopia; combining techniques of drawing and repetition to convey layers of human emotion and experience. Citlali Fabián is a visual artist and storyteller based between Mexico and the United Kingdom. She uses photography to explore ways of addressing identity and its connections with territory, migration, and community bonds.
