About The Event

Since the 1970s, John Divola has explored the photograph both as a document and an aesthetic object. His work examines the intersection of art and photography, often through photographing his own painted interventions in real world environments. He has taught at numerous institutions including California Institute of the Arts and the University of California, Riverside.
