Talking Back: Chicago Youth Respond

Museum of Contemporary Photography

About The Event

The Talking Back: Chicago Youth Respond exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Photography features works made by teens who participate in Picture Me, an afterschool photography program sponsored by the MoCP at three Chicago high schools: Curie Metropolitan High School, Juarez Community Academy, and Nicolas Senn High School. Co-taught by teams of working artists, this program, which serves approximately 90 students each year, cultivates teens as independent artists who gain a strong technical foundation as they work toward developing their own artistic vision and style through independent projects.

Join us for an opening reception at the MoCP on April 10, 4:30-6:30pm.

Education programs at the MoCP are supported by After School Matters, the Terra Foundation for American Art, and the Lloyd A. Fry Foundation.
