Tour of Field Museum Exhibition Featuring Work by Artist Terry Evans

Field Museum

About The Event

Friends of the MoCP – the Museum’s membership program – are invited to attend an exclusive tour of the Field Museum exhibit: Fractured: North Dakota’s Oil Boom, featuring work by acclaimed artist Terry Evans. The exhibition explores the impact of the current oil boom in North Dakota. Most of the oil is obtained by fracking – injecting fluids into the ground to fracture shale oil – and this controversial practice brings welcome prosperity to some, but tragedy to others. Join fellow members for a free, special tour of this exhibit, led by Evans herself. The tour will be followed by an optional lunch at the Field Museum. Tickets will be provided but RSVP  is required. Please RSVP by Tuesday, August 13th with Alexandria Mann at audiencedev@colum.edu or 312.369.7794.

Friends of the MoCP benefits include free, exclusive quarterly events such as private receptions, exhibition tours, artist studio visits and workshops.
