Ancient Stones, New England Landscapes, and Recent Work from France

About the Exhibition

Ancient Stones, New England Landscapes, and Recent Work from France is an exhibition of works by Paul Caponigro in the Museum’s Master in Photography series.  Caponigro stands among the foremost landscape photographers of our century, an artist who places technical perfection in the service of an intense, mystical sensibility.  Mystery infuses his images, whether of New England’s dark woodlands, the brooding megaliths and ancient Celtic stone crosses of Britain and Ireland, or the early abbeys and Roman Catholic basilicas of France.
