About the Exhibition

Oliver Boberg’s (German, born 1965) color photographs appear to be documents of vernacular sites’buildings, highway overpasses, parking lots’ however the places pictured, in fact, do not exist. Each site is a painted model of a fictitious place constructed in the studio in such a way that it can only be recognized through one vantage point that of Boberg’s camera.
