Echoes: Reframing Collage

Wardell Milan, Early Spring. The Charming Evening, 2014

About the Exhibition

A companion exhibition to The Many Hats of Ralph Arnold: Art, Identity & Politics, Echoes: Reframing Collage examines the parallels between Arnold’s work and 21st-century photocollage artists including Derrick Adams, Krista Franklin, Wardell Milan, Ayanah Moor, Nathaniel Mary Quinn, Paul Mpagi Sepuya, and Xaviera Simmons. These contemporary works serve to further deepen our understanding of Arnold’s lasting contribution.
